ROTARY CLUB OF MANASSAS
2012 HONORS LUNCHEON
The Rotary Club of Manassas will hold its annual Honors Luncheon in recognition of the four recipients of the Club’s Vocational/Technical scholarships and the three Manassas-area recipients of the Washington Post’s 2012 Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher award.
The scholarships, in the amount of $2,000 each, will be awarded to a 2012 graduating senior from Manassas Park High School (Manassas Park City Schools), Osbourn High School (Manassas City Schools), Osbourn Park High School (Prince William County Schools), and Stonewall Jackson High School (Prince William County Schools).
The Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teachers, chosen by their school divisions and honored by the Washington Post in recognition of their exemplary performance are: Ms. Francie Vandivere, R.C. Haydon Elementary School (Manassas City); Ms. Dawn Woolley, Cougar Elementary School (Manassas Park); and Mrs. Lydia Stewart, Osbourn Park High School (Prince William County).
In celebration of their achievements, the Rotary Club of Manassas will host the students, teachers and invited guests at this special Rotary event to be held at the City Tavern Grill, 9405 Main Street, Old Town Manassas, at 12:15 p.m. on May 23, 2012.
